This variable changes the color of the actor's lifeline in a sequence diagram, as illustrated in the following code snippet:

In the following diagram, we can see this rendered. Note that the background has been set to a dark color in the CSS styling of the web page to highlight the white lifelines. When you are trying this, you can choose a different color for the actor's lifeline that is visible to you:
